WE’RE GONNA BE TIMELESS is hosted by Sharif Dumani and Josh Mancell (from THE MOON UPSTAIRS) Tuesdays from 6-8 PM PST
Each
week, our show features a different genre (psychedelic, power-pop,
hardcore, dub, etc.) featuring past and present artists and gives an
overview that earns the “TIMELESS” tag.
We also do tribute
shows to great (and sometimes obscure) artists and record labels that
influence and inspire us. Past shows have paid tribute to artists such
as Curtis Mayfield, Felt, Wire, Fela Kuti, Stereolab, Big Star and
groundbreaking labels such as Stiff, Two-Tone, and Sarah Records.
Finally,
we have guest DJs who come armed with their own playlists and tales of
glory. Past guests include Paul Roessler (Screamers, Nervous Gender, 45
Grave, etc.), Jennifer Heremma (Royal Trux, RTX) and Z’ev (collaborator
of Psychic TV, Organum, Glenn Branca, etc.).
