Park(ing) Day LA is a day when groups across the city will build mini-parks in parking spaces to create a dialogue about how we use our public space in Los Angeles. Groups are encouraged to join the conversation by building or visiting a park, and celebrating at the after-party! Visit www.parkingdayla.com
Come celebrate the success of Park[ing] Day LA! Various Park[ing] Day LA parks will be picking up and relocationg to the after-party, so you’ll get to lounge in some of the finest parks of the day while listening to good music. Drinks and snacks provided too!
Little Radio Presents Restaurant, DJ Kevin Bronson, and DJ Clifton.
Park[ing] Day LA After-Party
Friday September 21st 2007
7 – 10 p.m.
610 S. Ardmore
(Public Counsel Parking Lot)
Ride your bike! Take Transit!
Parking is scarce in Korea-town and besides, riding your bike or taking transit will keep the spirit of Park[ing] Day LA alive!
Take the bus or train to the Wilshire/Normandie stop and walk a block
west to Ardmore. Easy access from Metro bus lines 20, 720 or 206 and
the Metro Red/Purple Line (use the Wilshire/Western train - not the
North Hollywood one). The party is at the top of the street, just south
of 6th.
